I work at home. Well, not always at home. I go to Barnes and Noble. At times, I go to Starbucks. I go to Bryant Park during summer. I’m a sucker for WiFi.

This t-shirt from ThinkGeek should suit me. If there is WiFi around, it tells you by showing the signal strength for everyone to see. The glowing bars on the front of the t-shirt dynamically change as the surrounding wi-fi signal strength fluctuates. Geeky guys and chicks would love you around. [Buy]

  • Glowing animated shirt dynamically displays the current wi-fi signal strength.
  • Shows signal strength for 802.11b or 802.11g
  • Black 100% cotton t-shirt
  • Animated decal is removable (with hook and loop fasteners) for easy washing
  • Battery pack is concealed in a small pocket sewn inside the shirt
  • Runs for hours off three AAA Batteries (not included)

Researchers have been studying the impact of video games on young people’s lives. Why wouldn’t they? Sales of video games now have bypassed Hollywood box office receipts. It only shows that video games are here to stay and provide more impact to our lives.

For me, the impact is clear: sleepless nights, empty bank account, anti-social personality… and more. I can say that “video games ruined my life“… and as this t-shirt from Threadless says, “good thing I have two extra lives.”

Threadless for $12 (guys tee), $14 (girly tee), $17 (kids tee).
